8/4/1966, Mark Blundell is born in Barnet, Hertfordshire, UK.

Mark Blundell came into Formula 1 via a test driver job with the Williams teams in 1990. In 1991 he had his debut as a driver for the Brabham-Yamaha team and switched to become McLaren test driver for 1992 before making the grid again with the Ligier team in 1993. After a season with the Tyrrell team in 1994 and as a stand-in for Nigel Mansell at McLaren-Mercedes in 1995, he moved to the US in 1996 as a front runner in the now defunct CART-Series. When he ran out of options at the end of 2000, Mark restricted his driving duties to the occasional participation at the 24 hours of Le Mans for MG Rover and Bentley. His main activity remains acting as an F1 commentator for ITV and the driver management company he runs with Martin Brundle as a partner, called 2MB Sports Management Ltd.
