Kimi Räikkönen trying this hand again at the the wheel of a rally car wouldn’t be that sensational if it wasn’t the Ferrari F1 driver’s World Rally Championship debut. It will be the 2007 Formula 1 World Champion’s 4th start at the wheel of an S2000 Fiat Grande Punto and the thoughest one as Rally Finland belongs to the most difficult rallies in the World.

While there was an initial tendency to up the mood on Felipe Massa’s condition after the freak accident the Brazilian suffered at the Hungaroring, worrying details seem to emerge by the hour. Word of mouth is that drivers have been briefed right after the end of the qualifying session not to comment whatever on the accident and TV reporters were told, the Ferrari driver was just being taken to hospital because of a precautionary check. The truth seems to be far from this version and very much worrying.
