Renato Pirocchi

One of the stars of the Italian Formula Junior series the 1960 Italian champion, Pirocchi’s most important win must have been the prestigious Havana GP in Cuba. His only participation in a round of the Formula 1 World Championship came at the 1961 Italian Grand Prix came at the wheel of an elderly Cooper entered by the Pescara Racing Club, finishing in a distant 12th place.

Aldo Costa

Aldo Costa (born June 6, 1961) is an Italian engineer, currently Technical Director at the Ferrari Formula One team.
Costa was born in Parma. After school, he continued studying and graduated from the University of Bologna in mechanical engineering.
Costa started his F1 career as the chief designer for Minardi in 1988 and became the technical director in 1989 after Giacomo Caliri, ex-technical director of the team, left. Costa joined the Scuderia Ferrari in 1995 and in 1998 became assistant to the team’s Chief Designer, Rory Byrne.[1] When Byrne announced his intention to retire in 2004, Costa was named as his successor. Byrne credited the design of the 2005 Ferrari to Costa.
Before the 2006 season, Aldo Costa was promoted to be the Head of Design and Development at Ferrari, as the team announced Nicholas Tombazis as their new Chief Designer.[2] On November 12, 2007 Ferrari announced that Aldo Costa will take on the role of technical director.

Born in Wimbledon, Surrey. Private ERA & Alfa Romeo driver Kenneth and Doreen Evans, were two popular racing drivers. The Bellevue Garages in Wandsworth was run by the Evans family and specialising in racing MGs. Died in Chelsea, London 1985.
