A lot of interesting racing kept us on our feet during the weekend – and even beyond.
What Dani Pedrosa achieved on Sunday is quite remarkable, it’s amazing how far professional bike riders would go, so their body remains sharp, capable of the kind of physical demand required to get through a Grand Prix on a MotoGP bike.
And there was that postponed Brazilian round of the IndyCar Series because of heavy rains. Can a championship, where more than a third of the drivers on the grid never drove a rain race in anger, offer the kind of quality you’d expect from the Series that has the Indy 500 in its calendar?
