After a weekend of good solid motor sport we got worrying news from England on Monday. And as always in such a situation it was difficult to get the full picture of the incident rightaway. All wwe new for sure: Marussia’s test driver Maria de Villota had suffered an accident during a straight line test day at an airfield.
We have waited with this edition until we found out more about Maria’s situation. Now we know there’s a long and difficult road to recovery ahead. As much we are saddened about her fate, we sure all are happy she survived this tragic accident. We wish her well and all the strength she and her family will need in the next weeks, months and years.
Or as they would say in her home country: Fuerza Maria!
