That’s awesome, Bill. Unfortunately I didn’t have that privilege. There’s a handful of driver I would have loved to see in action “live”. Jim Clark definitely tops the list.

He was truly the best . I saw him for the first time in 1965. It seems like it was yesterday.

Hi, great “little corner” and what a impressive experience ! Outro dia estava lendo um artigo sobre os acidentes na Tamburello…. e comparando este do Berger com o do Senna…e mesmo com o do Piquet …..eu com certeza diria que o Berger nao sobreviveu se eu nao tivesse visto nenhum deles. Foi tremendo azar do Senna, ou tremenda sorte do Berger…dependendo do ponto de vista.

Lembro bem dessa corrida…. bons tempos em que a F1 ainda tinha aquele romantismo no ar. Mas o que impressionou mesmo sao as fotos que mostram como a seguranca dos pilotos aumentou (ou o perigo diminuiu..dependendo do ponto de vista). Ayrton esta quase que metade pra fora na foto sem a carenagem. !!!!

Ah, OK. As the post is about yet another blooper of Felipe Massa in the Malaysian GP, I didn’t get what that was about.

Otherwise I’ve limited this blog to Formula 1 and pre-50s Grand Prix racing, so I’m actually not too much into other stuff.
