But, failing to achieve success, the Alfa Romeo shut down the F1 operation in 1984 and Chiti moved on, founding Motori Moderni which concentrated on producing V6 turbo F1-engines. Initially the company produced a V6 turbo design, after supercharging was banned the Italian came up with a new 3.5 litre atmospheric flat-12 engine, selling the project to Subaru.

This one I know without having to search fot it!!! 😀
The previous model, the 721X, was horrendous and was abandoned. Then, they took a 722 F2 chassis, fitted a Cosworth DFV engine, a bigger fuel tank and came up with the 721G. The “G” stood for ‘Guinness Book Of Records’ since the car was built in only nine days.
Cool, Carlos. That’s the one. Well done!
