Casey Stoner will start into the final MotoGP race of the season at Valencia from pole position. With a lap time of 1:32.256 the Aussie Rider left Dani Pedrosa, Jorge Lorenzo, World Champion Valentino Rossi as well as US riders Colin Edwards and Nicky Hayden behind. Superbike World Champion Ben Spies will start from P9.

In the 250cc class Alex Debon – despite crashing towards the end – scored pole position ahead of champion Marco Simoncelli, Ratapak Wilairot, Hector Barbera and title aspiring Honda rider Hiroshi Aoyama, who bumped Switzerland’s Thomas Lüthi out of first row in the final minutes of qualifying.

Julian Simon got pole position for the 125 race, newly crowned European Champion Marcel Schrötter will start from P7.
