Kurt Busch won the first Gatorade Duel 150 qualifying race at Daytona International Speedway and, after Dale Earnhardt Jr. crashed his Pole Award winning RCR-Chevy on Wednesday, will start from the pole position in Sunday’s Daytona 500! Jeff Gordon, who had the second-best time in Sunday’s pole qualifying, will start on the outside of the front row.

Jeff Burton won the second of two Gatorade Duel 150 qualifying races, edging Richard Childress Racing teammate Clint Bowyer for the victory by .005 seconds, and will start the ‘500’ from the fourth position, having won the race that set the even-numbered positions for the 53rd running of NASCAR’s most prestigious event.
