Ricky Taylor and Max Angelelli got their second GRAND-AM Rolex Series victory in a six-day span on Saturday, winning the Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen, at Watkins Glen International.

Taylor and Angelelli, co-drivers of the No. 10 SunTrust Racing Chevrolet/Dallara in the Daytona Prototype class, had won the Memorial Day Classic at Lime Rock Park prior to the Watkins Glen event. The consecutive victories moved them into second place in DP points, 19 behind reigning series champions Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas, who finished second Saturday.

The production-based GT class was won by Leh Keen and Andrew Davis in the No. 59 Brumos Racing Porsche GT3. Bill Lester and Jordan Taylor – Ricky’s younger brother – finished second and took over the championship points lead in GT.

The Taylor brothers nearly pulled off an unprecedented GRAND-AM sweep. In qualifying, they had become the first brothers to win respective DP and GT poles in the same GRAND-AM event.
