There were times when Frankfurt’s international motor show IAA opened up their gates on a Saturday and the media had two days prior to the official opening day for the public to do the job of co-ordinating interviews to be made and launches of new cars to be attended. Nowadays things happen on Tuesday and Wednesday, exactly those days in the week when the production of P1Mag is usually concluded.

Trying to do both at the same time seemed challenging, if not daring. Or even mad. But it could have worked. It could. Providing everyone involved in the scheduling of the relevant assignments being reliable and efficient. To make a long story short: Time has been wasted, little of what has been planned could be accomplished. So we got a day’s delay in our production – and are short of a couple of interviews we should have had.

Oh well, thankfully the IAA only takes place every other year. Hang on in there nonetheless for issue no. 33, it’s worthwhile.
