What a busy weekend it was, perhaps the busiest of the entire season, if you take the amount of pages of this issue in consideration. And plenty of championship decision to report on. Like Carlos Checa being becoming the season’s World Champion and Chaz Davies following suit.

Peugeot became Intercontinental Le Mans Cup champion with a dramatic win at the Petit Le Mans, Kevin Ceccon is the new Auto GP champion, Mirko Bortolotti took the Formula Two title, Roberto Merhi sealed his F3 Euro Series title in front of his home crowd in Valencia, Javier Tarancon secures the Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS title at Spa-Francorchamps and in Kentucky Josef Newgarden clinched the Indy Lights crown. And in the German GT3 championship, the ADAC GT Masters, Alexandros Maragaritis and Dino Lunardi drove their Alpina B6 Coupé to championship glory.

Congratulations to all 2011 champions and their teams!

All this, and many stories more, clashed with a major German public holiday, so we were one day short to produce 160 pages plus – our largest edition of the season. Championship deciding race or not, we got it anyway. And hey, it’s still FOR FREE!
