With a perfect one-off-lep in 1:35.121 Nico Rosberg took his and MercedesGP maiden pole position in a Formula 1 Grand Prix
Although Lewis Hamilton posted the second quickest time in 1:35.626, it will be a MercedesGP front-row for the Chinese Grand Prix on Sunday as
Michael Schumacher the third fastest time in 1:35.691 and will take P2 as there’s been a gearbox swap on Hamitlon’s Mclaren, dropping the Brit to P6 behind Kamui Kobayashi – now on third – and Kimi Räikkönen on row 2 and alongside team-mate Jenson Button in row 3.
