Jorge Lorenzo took the lead from Dani Pedrosa only four laps from the chequered flag in what was MotoGP’s exciting Grand Premi de Catalunya to ride away in the distance to win his home race. Polesitter Casey Stoner lost P3 to Andrea Dovizioso, who took his first podium finish for Tech3 Yamaha, and the reigning World Champion had a hard time do defend P4 against a hard charging Cal Crutchlow. Alvaro Bautista finished in P6 ahaed of Valentino Rossi and Moto2 World Champion Stefan Bradl.

  1. What a great race. For Lorenzo to win at home is a huge confidence boost going to the next round. Seems like the Yamaha’s found a little more during the post race test as well. Shall be interesting
